Last Lady Charters 5/8 Report

Fishing the last few days has been very good when you target the right species. Right now it is a very slow pick on stripers during the AM trips. Fri and Sat afternoon trips did well with stripers. Had a zero on Saturday day trip for stripers. Sunday day and Monday day trips we advised the groups to go bottom fishing---had good resuilts---lots of ling, seabass releases(opens 5/19), and some cod & winter flounder. Have to cancel end of month cod trip---not enough interest--don't forget I've been catching cod in the summer for a long time now--will reschedule. I expect the stripers to settle in so we can clam and chunk them soon.

STRIPERS--6am leave---$100/person---chunk, clam, bunker dunk, or jig---whatever it takes--MAY 30

Jersey Joe's Bait and Tackle 5/2 report

Good morning, we had many reports of Bass being caught on clams & bunker, up to 36lbs....Some bluefish in the bay on metal & chunked bunker.....We also heard of tide runners in the bay (weakfish) up to 11lbs.....Anyone needing sandworms please call Thursday for the weekend.....Today's forecast cloudy with 40% chance of rain, East wind 10-15mph....Good luck to all..thanks, Geri

Last Lady Fishing Report and Open Boat dates

This past weekend we fished for bottom fish, stripers, & blues.  Sat  we bottom fished on the Last Lady and had real tough conditions---rough in AM with wind against tide.  We still managed to put together a decent catch of ling and a nice cod for Joe Hoy. Sunday both boats striper/blue fished.  It was very hard to get thru the blues.
Both boats had the box full of blues.  Last Lady managed two keeper stripers and the Last Lady II had 10 keepers.  If we fished earlier or later we would have done much better with the stripers. Try to book a trip for stripers weekdays---the boat traffic has been  unbelievable on the weekends.

MAKO SHARK FISHING IS ALMOST HERE---I have choice dates available at this time.  ALL SHARK TOURNAMENTS ARE BOOKED WITH ONE OPENING FOR THE SOUTH JERSEY TOURNAMENT(4 people---approx$2000/person--best tournament with most payout)

Jersey Hooker Charters 4/29 Fishing Report

Great Day on the Jersey Hooker!!!! Limits of Striped Bass Plus 3 Bonus Fish! and About 40 Blues! Man my arms Hurt.We were fishing right off Monmouth Beach in the morning and the bass bite was on, then it turned into all blues. So we stayed and had some fun for a while then made our way back south trolling a few more bass. As we were heading back in to the Manasquan inlet the bird life came alive again! So we were back on the Jig right outside the inlet! Most of the Bass were caught on Jersey Jays and Crocodile Jigs with a few on Tony Maja Bunker Spoons!!! Blues on Crocs and Hopkins. Great day of fishing!!!

Sykk Physh Sportsfishing 4/26 Fishing Report

I had Nick, Tom, Eric, Monica And Barbara out for a early morning of stripers. We left the dock early and it payed off for us big time.. I made the run to were I hoped to find after the weekend storms. First stop lock and loaded. Fish on 1,2 and 3 on then like a switch it was over.. I made a few moves and we got back into them again. We had boat limit by 10 am and hit the catch and release mode till the South winds came up. Lots of blue fish moved in also which kept rods bent all morning long. Ended the day with a boat limit plus 1 bonus tag fish..
